Governance

Decisions and conflicts of interest

Important decisions must be documented and aligned with the nonprofit purpose. A person with a conflict of interest does not participate in the relevant decision.

  • Traceable important decisions
  • Separation of technical, editorial and administrative roles
  • Human review of sensitive publications
  • Protection of confidential information
Funding

Resources serve the nonprofit purpose

Membership fees, donations, partnerships and paid services must support the association’s mission. Financial support never grants editorial approval rights.

Accountability

Privacy, corrections and reports

Data processing is limited to stated purposes. The first activity and impact report will be published after a complete reference period and data validation.
