Four free technical pathways for young people: Linux, DevOps, telecom and AI

IBCSC is structuring four free pathways for pupils and students to discover technical careers, practise safely and build a first demonstrable skill.

Learn by building

IBCSC is collecting expressions of interest for four technical pathways for pupils, students and young adults who want to understand how digital infrastructure works. Educational access is free for selected participants. A session will be announced only once its venue, supervision, equipment and capacity are confirmed.

The aim is not to promise a career after a few weeks. Each pathway builds sound foundations, professional vocabulary, safe working habits and a concrete result that participants can explain themselves.

Four practical pathways

### Junior Linux

The terminal, files, permissions, processes, networking, updates, logs and backups. The final task is to prepare and document a small server.

### DevOps Foundations

Git, continuous integration, containers, configuration, secrets, deployment and monitoring. Participants deploy a simple application reproducibly, with a rollback procedure.

### Telecommunications equipment

Cabling, addressing, VLANs, Wi-Fi, routers, switches and diagnostic methods. Physical safety and intervention records are part of the work.

### Local AI and prompt engineering

Models, limitations, sensitive data and answer evaluation. Participants write testable instructions, compare outputs and build a small assistant without presenting AI as an infallible source.

Discovery and upskilling

An entry route is designed for pupils and students exploring a direction. A second format helps young technicians and jobseekers strengthen existing skills. Age guidance, prerequisites, language, duration and equipment will be stated for every session.

A responsible framework

Minors receive appropriate supervision. Participants never receive production access. Exercises use isolated environments, fictional data and authorised scenarios. Progress is assessed through explanation, documentation and reproducibility.

Schools, colleges, universities, companies and nonprofits may propose a venue, equipment, mentors or career visits. A partner supports the programme without receiving participant data or controlling educational conclusions.

Express an interest

Young people, parents, institutions and partners can contact IBCSC with the pathway, municipality, age or level, language and availability. This helps size future sessions; it is not yet registration for a confirmed date.
