CoopIT nonprofits: call of interest for a first ten-association pilot

Simple IT that remains owned and transferable

IBCSC is opening a call of interest for the CoopIT pilot. For six months, up to ten associations will be able to test light support for everyday digital needs. The cap protects service quality and makes it possible to measure the time actually required before expanding.

Small nonprofits sometimes depend on one volunteer, a personal account or a provider holding every credential. That is not only a security risk; it threatens continuity, organisational memory and the ability to hand responsibility over.

What the pilot may cover

Depending on the confirmed need: account inventory, domain ownership, a maintainable website, email, verified backups, updates, volunteer departure procedures, limited monthly support or small software shared by several associations.

Every intervention starts with a scope sheet stating responsible people, access, third-party costs, deliverables and exclusions. Domains, licences, primary accounts and data remain in the association’s name.

Proportionate formats

CoopIT ranges from baseline diagnostics and continuity to an accompanied website, shared infrastructure or recurring support. A symbolic €1 “digital helping hand” may address one concrete limited problem, subject to the available solidarity fund and time.

Licences, equipment, travel, urgency and specific development are not hidden inside an attractive price. They are separated before a decision. A social rate is never automatic.

What will be measured

The pilot will track simple facts: access recovered, assets inventoried, backups tested, documentation handed over, support time and autonomy gained. No impact figure will be published without a period, definition and evidence.

Suitable profile

An active Belgian nonprofit or association being formed, with an available responsible person, a precise need and agreement to document decisions. The pilot is not a 24/7 SOC, legal service, guaranteed data recovery or unlimited development.

Propose an association

State the enterprise number or project status, team size, current tools, priority problem and intended result. IBCSC replies after initial qualification and confirms any participation in writing.
